The Truth is the Truth

The truth is,

I was chosen,

called,

convicted,

by God.

The truth is,

when I was eighteen,

my pastor told me,

If you can do

anything else

and be happy,

do it.

But the truth is I couldn’t.

Not reading,

writing,

teaching,

serving,

speaking,

unless it was for

His Kingdom,

and His power,

and His glory forever,

amen.

So the truth is…

Here I am.

Doing my best,

or close to it,

to follow His will.

The truth is,

as messy as it is,

this is faith.
